Accreditation and Credit Designation Statements

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the UT Southwestern Department of Internal Medicine: Division of Digestive and Liver. The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Texas Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Nursing Contact Hours

This nursing continuing education professional development activity was approved by the Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity is jointly provided by the UTSW – University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and the Texas Medical Association. Criteria for successful completion: Learners will need to attend 1 or more sessions to receive certificate.

ABIM MOC Credit

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 5.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to the ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC Credit.

Evaluations and Certificates:

Course evaluations addressing program content, presentations, and possible biases will be available via a link in a post conference email. Evaluations are an important tool for assessing the effectiveness of this activity as well as for planning for future activities. We value your feedback.

Physicians, PAs, and APPs: Your CME attendance will be documented in your TMA profile portal at the conclusion of the conference. A certificate will also be provided via email.

RNs, LVNs, GI Techs: You will receive a certificate via email.

Maintenance of Certification (Physicians Only)

To claim ABIM MOC Part 2 Credit, participants will receive a link to the post conference test via email at the conclusion of the conference. A passing score of 80% is required to pass the post-test. The component must be completed by March 8, 2026, to receive credit.
